Organizations:

Cub Scouts:  As a new pack, Cub Scout Troup 384 holds its weekly den meetings at Goodland.  This activity is open to first through fifth graders (ages seven to ten) and includes both boys from Goodland and boys from the surrounding area.  This Scout Troop currently has about 30 boys as members.  Because it is a relatively new group, Troop 384 is currently still in the active recruitment phase for den parents, and in the future it is expected to grow significantly.  This Cub Scout Troop offers an excellent means for boys to learn about the outdoors, and is also an excellent preparation for Boy Scouts.

Boy Scouts:  Goodland’s facilities also serve as the weekly meeting place for Boy Scout Troop 384.  With boys from the surrounding area and from Goodland itself, this Troop currently has about 15 boys (ages ten to eighteen).  Boy Scouts has a well earned reputation for developing, “character, citizenship and personal fitness,” through various outdoor-oriented activities like monthly Troop campouts and yearly summer camps.
